Per A. Foss (PhD) - Chief Excecutive Officer
Dr Foss joined HUNT Biosciences in January of 2009 coming from the position as CEO in Birkeland Innovation, the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Oslo. Dr Foss, a Ph.D in Bio-Organic chemistry has kept a number of scientific and managerial positions at Nycomed, Amersham and since 2004 in GE Healthcare, where he was VP Technology Licensing - Europe.
Kristian Hveem (PhD, MD) - Chief Scientific Officer
Dr Hveem is professor at HUNT / NTNU and a clinical epidemiologist with specialisation in internal medicine / digestive diseases. K. Hveem is the leader of the national CONOR biobank and the HUNT biobank, vice director of Biohealth, as well as being the CSO of HUNT Biosciences. He has been central in establishing the HUNT Biobank.
Håkon Haaheim (MSc, MBA) - Chief Business Officer
Haaheim is a Medical Microbiologist and specialist in molecular diagnostics developing more than 20 different methods for the detection of microorganisms. Haaheim has been working in several international projects in Nepal, Russia, Switzerland and USA. Since 2005, he was responsible for innovation at the University Hospital of North Norway, BDO for the Technology Transfer Office region North Norway, and member of the Norwegian Health Innovation Coordination Team. Haaheim started working for HUNT Biosciences in September 2009.
Hilde Kjeldstad Berg (MSc) - Project Manager
Berg holds a Master’s degree in Biophysics and Medical Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and has both clinical and scientific work experience as well as commercial experience selling ultrasound and MR equipment for GE Healthcare.
