HUNT is made up by several extensive cohort studies run by the HUNT Research Centre, a department of the Faculty of Medicine at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. HUNT Biosciences offer access to this bio- and databank. We have prepared comprehensive material from several disease areas. Our material can be used to develop new diagnostic and pharmaceutic products.
Access to other registries
In addition to our unique biobank and database of personal and family medical history, we also offer access to other Norwegian registries. These are registries collected by Norwegian authorities all the way back to 1952 including the Cancer Registries, the Prescription Registries, the Cause-of-death Registries and several clinical end-points registries.
Access to other Registries
In addition to samples and data, we also offer access to information from several medical Norwegian databases including ethical approval applications.
HUNT Research Centre
The HUNT population is very well characterised through over 600 peer- reviewed publications, and more than 70 completed PhD degrees. HUNT Biosciences offer access to profiled research teams within several medical fields of expertise.
